I have a windows 7 on my system and i installed VmWare on it. I installed Red Hat on Vmware and i am not able to ping to winows7 from vmware but i am able to ping vmware from windows7. Please help!!

Disable Firewall on Windows 7 and then try, it will help you.

Are you able to ping to the other network.

ifconfig -a
ping google.com
cat /etc/sysconfig/network-scripts/ifcfg-eth0
cat /etc/resolv.conf
